Type of HVAC: Combi-boiler providing dedicated heating hot water and domestic hot water to the unit + LG VRF Heat Pumps for cooling and backup heating.
Scope of Work: ABS provided full MEP + SP design services for the full renovation of an apartment in a circa 1900 SoHo loft building. Domestic hot water delivery in the unit was poor so we designed a dedicated “combi” boiler to serve the unit’s radiators and domestic hot water systems. In addition, new HVAC was installed throughout for cooling and exhausting the unit. As is common in buildings of this type, an electrical upgrade was provided in support of the mechanical equipment.
