SUZUKI

Location:
114 West 47th Street, New York, NY
Project Stats:
Completed: Winter 2016
Area of Project: 6,000 SF
# of Floors: 2
Use/Occupancy: Restaurant
Type of HVAC: Water-source heat pumps
Scope of Work: ABS provided full MEP design for the conversion of a below grade, former bank data center into a high-end sushi restaurant. The restaurant’s entrance was at sidewalk level but all seating, kitchen, bar, and dining was below grade at cellar level, requiring all drainage to be pumped up to the level of the house sewer. With minimal ways to vent equipment, steam-to-water domestic water heaters were employed while on the HVAC side, all heat pumps received condenser water from the building, with our own pumps to be employed during setback hours.
