POE YOGA

Location:
90 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY
Project Stats:
Completed: Spring 2018
Area of Project: 1,300 SF
# of Floors: 1
Use/Occupancy: Mercantile/Retail
Type of HVAC: Climatemaster water-source Heat Pump + Renewaire ERV
Scope of Work: This project consisted of the conversion of a “white-boxed” retail space into a hot yoga studio. To make the studio “hot,” infrared panels were mounted above the space, requiring careful specification and design of the sprinklers within the space to avoid any false triggers. Additionally, like most spaces where people work out/exert themselves, providing adequate A/C and ventilation was paramount so a combination of a water-source heat pump and ERV was employed
